FIGHTING CORRUPTION AND GRAFT
Nigeria can – and must – continue to fight corruption at every level. It is only under President Buhari that this will be achieved. President Buhari’s anti-corruption campaign is yielding results and showing it is no longer business as usual in Nigeria.
President Buhari’s Whistleblowing Policy introduced by the Federal Ministry of Finance in December 2016 has recovered N13.8 billion from tax evaders (in May 2018, the Government paid N439.2 million to about 14 whistle-blowers who gave specific tips on tax evasion).
BECOMING MORE EFFICIENT
The Nigerian government will continue to become more efficient under President Buhari. Thanks to the Efficiency Unit established by this government, wasteful spending and the inefficiencies of past governments have been slashed.
REPLENISHING THE SAFETY NET
President Buhari has recovered stolen assets from the Nigerian people. In June 2018, the President secured the repatriation of $300m of the Abacha loot from Swiss authorities to Nigeria, which will be distributed to around 300,000 households in need as part of the Nigeria National Social Safety Net Program (NAASP).

SECURING PEACE AND UNITY IN NIGERIA
Securing peace in Nigeria is President Buhari’s number one priority. Nigeria has made great progress in fighting Boko Haram and will not stop in these efforts until peace and security have been restored. President Buhari will continue to act decisively in addressing new security challenges to secure the peace and prosperity of our country.
Since President Buhari took office, successful operations have been conducted to curtail violence and insecurity across the country, from fighting against Boko Haram in the northeast, to curtailing the menace of militant activities in the Niger Delta, and tackling violence by herdsmen and cattle rustlers.
FIGHTING BOKO HARAM
Since taking office, President Buhari has overseen important breakthroughs in the fight against Boko Haram and continues to make their defeat a priority.
Over the past three years President Buhari’s Administration has made multiple major arrests, dismantled long-standing crime syndicates, and curtailed kidnappers, bandits, and militant elements across the country.
The President’s commitment to cracking down on insurgency and terrorism in his first term has led to a fall in nationwide deaths caused by insurgent conflict since 2014.
DELIVERING A THRIVING ECONOMY
The Nigerian economy is back on the path of growth. With Nigeria’s Economic Recovery and Growth plan, President Buhari is mapping a clear way to a diversified, sustainable, and inclusive economy.
BOOSTING THE ECONOMY
Nigeria’s economy is returning to a path of growth after the recession of 2016-17, achieving 1.95% growth in Q1 2018 and increasing tax revenue to N1.17 Trillion, a 51% increase on the Q1 2017 figure. President Buhari has put Nigeria on a path of sustainable growth path with the Economic Recovery and Growth plan, which is already taking effect.
The Buhari Administration has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to upgrading and developing Nigeria’s Transport, Power and Health Infrastructure and making sustainable renewable energy a priority.
The Buhari Administration’s priority Sectors of Agriculture and Solid Minerals maintained consistent growth throughout the recession. In 2017, agriculture exports grew 180.7% above the value in 2016.
The Administration has launched a series of funding and capacity development initiatives to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and is working tirelessly to improve ease of doing business in the country.

BUILDING A BETTER NIGERIA
President Buhari’s Social Investment Programme is the largest and most ambitious social safety net programme in the history of Nigeria. The government has released N140 billion to deliver a better Nigeria for all, with more than 9 million direct beneficiaries so far.
FEEDING OUR CHILDREN
8.7 million children now receive a free nutritionally-balanced and locally-sourced hot meal every school day through the Home Grown School Feeding programme. This programme will expand to all of Nigeria.
EMPOWERING THE PEOPLE
The Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) has invested N15.183 billion in interest-free loans ranging from N50,000 to N350,000, disbursed to more than 300,000 market women, traders, artisans, farmers across all 36 states.
